Positive mental health and wellbeing is the most precious gift we can give ourselves and those we care about. In the same way that we look after our physical health, we must remember to take care of our emotional and mental health, as the connection between our mind, body and spirit is crucial in our understanding of how we may manifest pain. All the family can benefit from holistic therapies and some are particularly helpful for children who may be experiencing emotional distress and anxiety.

It can be tender, overwhelming, and deeply emotional,
for the person at the centre of it, and for those who love them.

A Soul Midwife offers gentle, non-medical support during this time.

In a world that moves quickly, your body is often asked to keep up…
to push through, to stay alert, to keep going.

But your nervous system isn’t designed to be “on” all the time.
It needs moments of stillness.
Of softness.
Of safety.

Slowing down isn’t falling behind.
It’s allowing your body to regulate, to settle, to breathe again. 🤍

Sometimes life feels heavy, busy, or overwhelming. Tiny, gentle practices can help you protect your energy, and remember that caring for yourself is not selfish - it’s essential.

Notice your signals.
Create boundaries.
Move, breathe, and release.
Rest when you need it.
And allow yourself to be supported in safe, calm spaces.

Even small acts of care add up.
You are worth this attention, this softness, this pause. 🤍

So often, we move through the day without noticing the small signals our body is sending us.
The tight shoulders.
The shallow breath.
The quiet need to pause.

These little moments of care might seem simple…
but they are powerful.

A sip of water.
A deeper breath.
A softened posture.

They are small ways of telling your body:
“I’m listening. I’ve got you.”

It’s completely natural to feel unsure before trying something new. 🤍

A Reiki session is a gentle, calming experience.
You remain fully clothed, lying comfortably, in a quiet, safe space.

With light, respectful touch, or simply working just above the body, energy is offered to help restore balance, ease tension, and support your emotional wellbeing.

There’s nothing you need to do.
Nothing you need to believe.

You may feel warmth, deep relaxation, or simply a sense of calm…
or you may just enjoy the pause.

Every experience is different, and everything is welcome.

This is your time to rest.
To be held in a peaceful, supportive space.

Just a feeling of being a little off.
A little heavier.
A little more tired, overwhelmed, or disconnected than usual.

Our energy shifts all the time, especially when we are holding a lot, giving a lot, or moving through change.

These gentle signs are not something to fear…
they are simply your body and mind asking for care.

A pause.
A breath.
A moment to come back to yourself.

and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more positive is at the very heart of this work.

Even through Zoom, meaningful connection and gentle support can still be felt.
