We don’t always have time for a day to unfold, breathe, rest, reset and be out in nature. I’ve planned the day for 2026, just a small group, in the North York Moors near Rosedale.

We’ll be breathing to release tension and let energy flow, resting to the soothing tones of the gong, and gently moving our bodies in yogic postures. No experience needed, just an intention to receive.

Freshly prepared vegetarian lunch and snacks will be provided throughout your day, and there’s the option to add a reduced price B&B to your stay, where you’ll be able to take advantage of the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge bath.

The whole day is £95pp and the May date is already half full.

You can enquire and book by sending me a DM or filling out the Contact Me form on my website: www.jenncarpenter.uk

Sometimes we get too wrapped up in the external busyness of life, especially at this time of year.

Here's a new 3 minute grounding meditation on my YouTube channel to help release any anxieties and invoke a sense of calm within you.

This short meditation helps you pause and notice the present moment, release any anxieties and calm your nervous system.

I’m excited to be presenting at the annual IDAS conference in Leeds this week.

Mindfulness and breathwork are essential components of wellbeing but also tools we can use to deal with the stress and ups and downs of life.

Both these tools are part of yogic philosophy, which for me, isn’t something to ‘do’ as such but to aim to embed as a way of living.

I’m looking forward to sharing this wisdom and ways of looking after ourselves through this workshop for all staff and volunteers of this worthy charity.

When Sunday comes around so quickly: you’ve been busy all weekend with plans, adventures, family activities.
You notice that you’ve not had a chance to breathe. To pause. To reflect. To nourish yourself.

This is why we created Sunday Sanctuary at Soultribe Studios. This is your part of your weekend where you can let go. Release responsibilities for an hour. Notice how nourishing your breath is. Reset your nervous system. Move your body slowly and mindfully. Surrender your form in a deep meditation and relax completely.

We all need a little time to be ourselves again. And if you’re new to Soultribe, you can have this first class for only £10 (redeemable if you then take up a monthly membership)

I love my Sundays, sharing this time with likeminded friends as we relax together in a beautiful space.

Come join us.

This year, I’m running the Yorkshire 10 Mile (in just under 4 weeks 🫣) to raise money for families living with Motor Neurone Disease.

If you could spare any words of encouragement and a small donation, it will soothe my grumbling knees and help me get round the course with a big smile 😃

Thank you SO much 🥰

About me

I have always wanted to be a yoga teacher but the excitement of teaching children aged 4-11 years shaped my first career choice. After teaching in two different schools, I have been very lucky to share my expertise with trainee teachers at university, which is where I still work now. Having rediscovered yoga for myself in the last five years, I realised I needed to follow my dream and have now completed a 200 hour RYT programme in the beautiful country of Peru. I now offer one to one private classes and will shortly be setting up classes in York and surrounding area. I am so excited to share my practice and knowledge with beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

It was about four years ago that I had my first experience with a professional coach. I couldn’t believe how she was able to listen to me with such deep focus, ask very challenging and often difficult questions (some of which I just had to answer, ‘I’ve no idea!’) and how it helped me reflect on my own life and my priorities. It was transformational for me and I decided that I wanted to help others as a qualified coach too. Now I have coached several people, most of whom are teachers or involved in education, and it’s so rewarding. It’s especially great when people stop and just say, ‘Oh, yes, maybe that’s it!’ and ‘Now I am much clearer about the next step to take.’ Coachees say that what they really appreciate is time to focus on themselves, and how my compassionate and calm manner enables them to identify clear goals and actions for their work or personal life.

My experience with Reiki began over 8 years ago with a taster session. I felt strangely awakened in my body although I put it down to something else back then. Recently I have been more open minded about it, had further sessions and knew that I also wanted to treat people. I’ve qualified at level 1 and level 2 and my current clients say how thoroughly relaxed they feel after a treatment. Why not give it a try?
