Baking day, the residents made cheese straws and Appke turnovers and they had them with their cuppa this afternoon. All said very tasty. Well done everyone.

Having a test run on making crispy cakes, for Easter with our Talented Chef Peter helping us we had fun making them and eating them afterwards, to start off with our weekly cooking program.

We had a lovely trip around Eastbourne, Beachy head, Birling Gap plus East Dean, was lovely for the Residents to bring back memories of the places we visited today.

Making the most of the Beautiful weather. Getting our hands dirty, planting on the herbs, seedlings and plants we brought on Monday, into the Garden to brighten it up, so all the Residents can see them grow.

What beautiful weather we have today and we made the most of it, going to St John's, Church pop in, a very warm welcome with a cuppa of coffee and biscuits plus playing connect 4 and scrabble.

The Residents had a wonderful afternoon with a trip to Hilliers Garden Centre, enjoying the opportunity to get out and about to take in the wide selection of flowers with lots of items for sale and enjoyed looking at the clothes.
The Residents chose all the plants for their garden at the Polegate and will be planting them soon. In the Gardening Club.
