Hello Scurlage!
We’re so pleased to finally be here and wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about our family-run, independent pharmacy.
Our journey began in Penclawdd, where Huw Rees—our father and founder—has been a trusted part of the local community since opening the doors back in September 1983. Over the past 40+ years, Huw built a pharmacy rooted in care, trust, and service.
In 2020, Huw’s son Jonathan and daughter-in-law Stacey joined the family business, stepping in to help lead the team through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and continuing to build on the values the pharmacy was founded on.
Since then, we’ve grown—adding Pontardawe Pharmacy to the family in 2023, where we’ve loved getting to know the local community and providing the care and attention every village deserves.
Now, we’re so excited to bring that same commitment and community spirit to Scurlage. You'll find Jonathan, Stacey, and our pharmacist Cameron working closely with the existing team to deliver a high standard of care and a friendly, familiar face you can trust.
