“Three years ago I walked into my local group… and life has never been the same!” Shay (_lifebyshay on Instagram) joined Slimming World as a way to take back control of her weight and lost an incredible 5st 7lbs 🎉.

That wasn’t the only thing that changed though – Shay also regained her confidence, improved her mental health and found a new role… supporting her own members to achieve their weight loss goals 🤗!

As we enter the second half of 2023 I was just wondering if anyone was feeling a little like me?

I started this year thinking right THIS WILL BE YOUR YEAR. I’ve lost count actually of just how many years I’ve started thinking that 🤭

The reality is often much more complex as I 100% believe in Slimming World but it’s me I struggle to believe in ❤️

What I’ve come to recognise is that being a Slimming World member gives me a far greater chance of success because others who attend understand, they support, they encourage and help give me that belief that I sometimes don’t have.

If you’d like to dust yourself off and try again then why not reach out to see if any of your friends or family already go to the Carleton Slimming World group. That way you have support from the start 😉 If you join or rejoin their session with them then they’ll get a copy of this fab book and a free week voucher too 👍

When you join or rejoin you’ll get a copy for free too if you commit to a 6 week countdown course where you’ll only pay for 5 weeks.
