There are times in our lives when we feel we are overwhelmed with the responsibilities we have, or we are unable to deal with the experiences we have endured. Counselling can help you to work through these issues by helping you to understand your feelings and emotions and give you the tools to help you to cope going forward, helping you to live a fulfilling life. Hello, my name is Louise, and I am a qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP, which is the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I am qualified in Person Centred counselling which is a form of counselling that will help you to explore your own issues, feelings, beliefs, behaviour, and worldview, so you can become more self-aware and achieve greater independence. This form of counselling helps you to see how you have the ability to heal yourself and will give you the tools you need to go forward in your life. I also have an integrative approach to counselling which means I work with many different approaches and techniques as I believe not one style fits all, as we are all different and need to find our own way though our difficulties. I offer a safe and confidential space to allow you to explore your difficulties and emotions, I have an empathetic approach, being non-judgemental and congruent, which will help us to develop an open and honest therapeutic relationship.
