One of our lovely gents enjoyed a wonderful trip out to Pontefract Park 🌳🦆

He had a lovely walk around the lake, spent time feeding the ducks, and then stopped at Hug A Mug Café for coffee and cake ☕🍰

He said he really enjoyed the day and loved getting out and about enjoying the fresh air and scenery. It’s always lovely seeing the smiles these little outings bring 😊

🎩✨ The Roaring Twenties/ thirties came alive at Millfields today! Our staff donned their finest flapper dresses and dapper suits, dancing the Charleston and bringing smiles all around. Residents loved seeing the glitz, glamour, and energy of the era come to life! 🕺💃

Step back in time at Millfields today as we enjoyed a fantastic 1920s /30s themed day! 🎩✨

All of our amazing staff dressed up in their fabulous fancy dress, bringing the roaring twenties / thirties to life for our residents. From flapper dresses to dapper suits, it’s wonderful to see everyone getting involved and having fun.

Our residents absolutely loved seeing the staff all dressed up – it brought so many smiles, laughs, and great conversations throughout this morning. Moments like these really make a difference and create such special memories ❤️

Our little friends came to visit and spent some special time with our ducklings, and it was wonderful to see how much they enjoyed the experience. Their smiles and excitement filled the room!

Our residents absolutely loved watching them interact, bringing so much joy, laughter, and warmth to everyone involved 🥰

🎨✨ Creative moments at Millfields ✨🎨

Our residents have been busy getting creative, and we couldn’t be prouder of the beautiful artwork they’ve produced! 🖌️💛

A very special moment came from one of our lovely ladies, who shared that this is the first piece of art she has ever created that she feels truly proud of — and what an amazing piece it is! 🥹👏

We also have a fantastic piece from one of our gentlemen, who painted a picture of a railway cottage he previously owned — such a meaningful and personal piece of artwork 🚂🏡

It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful creativity can be, building confidence, sparking joy, and bringing out hidden talents 🌈

Well done to everyone involved – your artwork is absolutely wonderful! 💕
