How lucky are we?! 🌞 Another beautiful morning for our friendly, fun, Friday walk n talk around the racecourse 💗

It’s always great to see people returning and those coming for the first time, always being welcomed by our regulars 🫶🏼

If you’re worried about turning up on your own, please don’t be. You’ll soon feel like you’ve been with us forever - in a good way 🤣 It’s truly a fabulous start to the day and weekend ahead 👌

Monday 6.30pm by little Asda Ponte - walking group
Tuesday 6.30pm in Featherstone - walking and running (your choice, you don’t have to run if you only want to walk 👍)
Thursday 6.30pm Aspire @ The Park - running group

We were looking a bit lonely tonight until the downpour finished 🌧️ ☔️ but just in time the rain stopped and the sun even made a little appearance ☀️

5 and 6k routes were taken on tonight.. all back in one piece and smiling as usual 😊

There are even talks of a 2nd weekly run for some…. If anyone fancies our Tuesday meet it is the same time 6.30pm Featherstone Library & Community Centre for running or walking 🙂

Ta-Da! You’d think I’d know by now not to lend Andy my phone 🙄🤣 but we did get some other fab pics of this evening’s walk to the amazing Featherstone War Memorial - a truly stunning and poignant part of the Featherstone landscape & heritage 💞

Another great walk n talk in lovely company, guaranteed to deliver the feel good factor 👍

Another Monday night in the bag. Despite a 90% chance of rain at 6pm, we dodged it and had a lovely rainbow and sunset. As usual the banter was first class. Thanks everyone

Pontefract never fails to deliver when it comes to numbers ❤️❤️❤️

Once again like many of the meets throughout the week, our Friday gang turned out in force for what turned out to be another warm and very pleasant stroll around the park ☀️🌳🌺

We were definitely missing a few of our furry friends today though 🐶🦮💔 and look forward to having them back next week 😁 (owners too obviously🤣)

We had it all tonight .. rain, sun and even a pretty rainbow on our routes ☀️ 🌧️ 🌈

But that didn’t dampen any spirits and both our 5k and 6k groups smashed their runs .. we love seeing everyone running at their own pace .. and most importantly enjoying it !!!!!

Who knows what day it is today… but we have it on good authority that tomorrow is Thursday which means it’s run day 🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️

We will have 3 routes available, a 3km, a 5km and a 6km .. as we just can’t stop these couch to 5k graduates 😍

We will be gradually be increasing the 6k route over the next few months so it’s the perfect opportunity to get signed up to a 10k as extra motivation 💪
