I saw a wonderful inspirational quote today it read "Don't lose hope, when the sun goes down the stars come out.
When we become depressed, as so many of us do, we forget the light and joy in our lives.
I hope if you are feeling bad today that this quote will bring a smile to your face and remind you there is always hope and light in the world.

Reading the news today I notice that there were three people stabbed in London yesterday one of the victims sadly dying from his wounds.
The Met Police say 87 people have been killed in the first seven months of the year.
Terrible figures of violence for our capital city.
Yet in contrast walking through our local town yesterday my partner spotted a lady holding a small baby.
He was struck by the amount of people that stopped to hold the baby’s hand, stroke her face or tickle her.
Everyone it seemed (including my partner) wanted to show affection to the baby.
Have you ever noticed how the laugh of a child brings a smile to most of our faces.
So what happens from going to this loving state to being so filled with hate that you take a knife to someone?
It seems to me that somewhere along the way compassion and empathy have been lost.
What an amazing place this beautiful world of ours would be if we could somehow teach all our children to hold on to these powerful and essential emotions as they grow to adulthood.

Stress has been called a modern day plague it destroys life's, wrecks careers and tears family's apart.
