The Agency provides services to both private clients and those referred by Shropshire Social Services. Allcare has been a ‘zone provider’ for Shropshire Social Services since 2003 providing care in the Rea Valley, Monkmoor and Underdale areas of Shrewsbury. One of our ladies has today received a note in a signed for package with no information on. After consultations this is part of an elaborate scam, where she is not the intended victim.
If you are in the Pontesbury area and you have ordered a parcel that has not been delivered but is stating it has been signed for. Please get in touch as we may be able to help your case. We have an order number and believe it is an eBay scam. *PLEASE SHARE*

Today marks 3 years since we lost Wendy - a remarkable women whose kindness, vision and compassion touched so many lives.

Wendy didn’t just start Allcare, she built a community. Her passion for helping others just wasn’t a job, it was who she was. She believed in care that came from the heart, and that legacy still lives on in every act of kindness carried out under the business she founded.

We miss her laugh, her guidance and the way she saw the best in people. Though she’s no longer with us in person, her spirit remains in the values she instilled in the hearts she left a mark on.

Thinking of you today and always Wendy. Thank you for everything 💜

Today we received a beautiful card and some very thoughtful gifts from a former service user who has recently moved into full-time care. The card read:

"Thank you for all the care that you have given to my Mum. It has allowed her to be comfortable and safe in her own home for as long as she was able to. I feel so lucky she had you guys. The care went above and beyond 'doing the dishes' and that person centered care touch is something you all need to keep hold of and be proud of x"

💛"𝒪𝓊𝓇 𝒱𝒶𝓁"💛
𝟛𝟙𝕤𝕥 𝕁𝕒𝕟𝕦𝕒𝕣𝕪 𝟙𝟡𝟜𝟝 - 𝟙𝟙𝕥𝕙 𝕄𝕒𝕪 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟝

This weekend we said goodbye to this wonderful lady. She has been a massive part of alot of lives here at Allcare for the last 18 years. She has been the one constant in most of our care workers journeys with us. Part of the furniture and has made such an impact on a lot of people.

We do not usually post such things, but we have been caring for this amazing lady for so long and there are staff members who are no longer with us who should know.

Back when we were entrusted with her care in 2007, we had no idea what journey and a rollercoaster she would take us on. Whatever trials and tribulations she went through she faced them all head on, usually with a cheeky grin and a huge dose of the giggles. We have been through heartache and loss with her and we have celebrated with her (most recently her 80th birthday) and we have spent every day for the last 18 years trying to help her live her best life, we like to think that we succeeded up until very recently. Cheeky, mischeivious and so much fun to be around.

The carers all thought the world of her and will miss her every day.

Allcare will not be the same without you Val. You have left behind a hole in a lot of hearts that can not be filled.

Sending our love and best wishes to all of her family and friends. Sleep tight. xx

After 18 years, today we say goodbye to our Kim. Off to pastures new.
She has been nothing but well liked, hardworking and dedicated to Allcare. She has been an integral part of the business and she is going to be missed everyday. She isn’t one for mushy goodbyes so we won’t go on to say that she is an absolutely amazing human and her new employers are going to be lucky to have her.
