Allcare Providing Care Allcare is a rural based care agency which was formed in 2000 to provide care to the elderly and disabled within their own homes.

The Agency provides services to both private clients and those referred by Shropshire Social Services. Allcare has been a ‘zone provider’ for Shropshire Social Services since 2003 providing care in the Rea Valley, Monkmoor and Underdale areas of Shrewsbury. We offer to assist you with all your Care requirements, no matter how small we can tailor a Care package to suit your needs. We specialise in the Care of the elderly, and our diverse group of enthusiastic and highly skilled staff are trained to the highest standard and have a wide range of experience in Caring for people with varying needs and disabilities.

We have had to go into emergency planning. Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding. The office may not be open today as our lovely office manager is on standby with the out of hours, the number for this service 07432 615 042.
Thank you to those who have cancelled calls and to family members who are helping out. And to those with 4x4s who will be taxiing and helping.

Your carers will endeavour to get to you all. However our advice would be to expect your carers when you see them. Probably with cold hands and soggy socks…. But always with a smile.

This may be a few days late. But with one thing after another. Our focus has been elsewhere, and a few short days have been taken to recover.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.
To you all. We send special wishes to our beyond incredible team, to our lovely ladies and gents, to all the people we have met along the way and to all the invaluable services who have taken the time to support us, particularly over the past weeks while the team have gone above and beyond to ensure one of our service users can have their final wish. The district nurses, palliative care team, health hero and the GPs at Pontesbury and Worthen Medical Practice do not get the credit that they deserve. We thank everyone for their patience with call time changes and disruption. (It’s no mean feat plucking carers out of thin air to provide 24 hour support, particularly over the festive period and the bank holidays. But somehow we did it to the bitter end)

Treasure those carers and health professionals in your lives. It’s not for the faint of heart. Leaving their own families to take care of others. We are so so incredibly proud and grateful for our staff. Their dedication is unmatched.

Hope this year is happy, healthy and full of the good things for all.

🎄🎄 OUR MEMORY CHRISTMAS TREE IS NOW UP 🎄🎄

If you would like to remember a loved one on our Memory Tree this year, please get in touch. You can do this over the phone, drop us a message or pop in and see us.

If you would like a photo included on your bauble, please send us a square photo to the Allcare Messenger, or bring one in for us to make a copy of.

All donations will be going to the Severn Hospice. They were a big part of Wendy’s life so we have decided that all donations will go to them again this year as they rely on charitable giving to keep providing invaluable support to individuals and their families who are living with incurable illnesses.

We provide essential day to day support for vulnerable individuals within their own homes. Providing assistance with day to day activities that most of us take for granted. Without these services, the individuals would not be able to remain in their own homes.
Various shifts available, hours discussed (and agreed) at commencement of employment.

💐 Today we received a beautiful card, flowers and generous contribution towards our Christmas party fund from a family whose mother we helped whilst being at home. 🎄❤️

At the party we will all raise a glass to Mum, while also thanking the amazing carers who looked after her with so much kindness and compassion. We’re so grateful for your kindness 💕

One of our ladies has today received a note in a signed for package with no information on. After consultations this is part of an elaborate scam, where she is not the intended victim.
If you are in the Pontesbury area and you have ordered a parcel that has not been delivered but is stating it has been signed for. Please get in touch as we may be able to help your case. We have an order number and believe it is an eBay scam. *PLEASE SHARE*

Today marks 3 years since we lost Wendy - a remarkable women whose kindness, vision and compassion touched so many lives.

Wendy didn’t just start Allcare, she built a community. Her passion for helping others just wasn’t a job, it was who she was. She believed in care that came from the heart, and that legacy still lives on in every act of kindness carried out under the business she founded.

We miss her laugh, her guidance and the way she saw the best in people. Though she’s no longer with us in person, her spirit remains in the values she instilled in the hearts she left a mark on.

Thinking of you today and always Wendy. Thank you for everything 💜

Today we received a beautiful card and some very thoughtful gifts from a former service user who has recently moved into full-time care. The card read:

"Thank you for all the care that you have given to my Mum. It has allowed her to be comfortable and safe in her own home for as long as she was able to. I feel so lucky she had you guys. The care went above and beyond 'doing the dishes' and that person centered care touch is something you all need to keep hold of and be proud of x"
