Today we said our final goodbye to our dear Carol.

Carol became part of the Cliffdale family in January 2023, and from the very start she filled our home with warmth, kindness, and so much love. She wasn’t just our cook — she cared deeply for everyone around her, and that showed in everything she did.

Carol sadly passed away on New Year’s Day. She leaves behind a space that can never truly be filled, but also countless memories that we will treasure forever.

You will always be part of Cliffdale, Carol. You will be so deeply missed. 🤍💐

Home from Home in the Shropshire Hills

Cliffdale is a listed building with a rich history. When its new owners first came to visit last year, they immediately loved the building and its location. Dr Gaurav Chaudhary, Dr Rajni Singh and their son, Sam, have whole-heartedly embraced the prospect of renovating Cliffdale.

However, a Care Home is not just a building, it is the lives of all those individuals who work, rest and play there. Gaurav and Rajni work closely with Registered Manager, Tammy Hanmer, and the dedicated staff, to ensure that every aspect of the home, and the care it provides, is continuously but unobtrusively enhanced and improved. The residents, along with their relatives and friends, are at the heart of everything we all do.
