🎄’It’s the most wonderful time of the year’ 🎄 but it’s also the busiest time for the NHS!
Please allow plenty of time whilst ordering repeat prescriptions, all repeat prescriptions currently take 72 hours to process, please see the email addresses for each branch below:

Tomorrow 19/12/25 will be the last day you are able to order a repeat prescription to be ready to collect before Christmas.

HALF DAY CLOSURE - STAFF TRAINING
Due to staff training the Practice will be closed on Tuesday 21st October from 1pm onwards (Llangeinor and Bettws 12.30pm). We will reopen at 8.00am on Wednesday 22nd October.
During closure time if you have a medical emergency, please call 999. If you have a medical concern that cannot wait until Wednesday 22nd October, please call the usual surgery number and an alternative number will be available to our GP cover. You can call GP out of hours from 6.30pm on 111. Please remember you can use any pharmacy for access to advice for common ailments. Please note this service will not have access to your medical records and will not be able to issue repeat prescriptions.

Just a big thank you to all of the patients that came in today for the Flu Jab. Our clinical and admin teams hoped we made it as easy for you as possible. Over 750 of you came today from ages 2 to 92 and we will continue with offering flu jabs to all who are eligible over the next few months.

Flu clinic- Saturday 11th October 2025!💉

We’ll be holding our Flu clinic tomorrow at both Pontycymmer and Bettws surgeries from 8:30am-16:00pm.
We still have appointments available! If you’ve already received an invite from us but havent yet booked, your’e welcome to pop in on the day and have your flu vaccination.

Childrens Flu Vaccinations-
If your child was born betweenn01/09/2021-31/08/2023, they are eligible to receive their flu vaccination with us too.

Getting your vaccination helps protect you, your family, and our community this winter!!
