If you’ve walked past the shop recently you may have noticed the new additions to the top of the windows.
The fabulous ladies from T-Lighted designed and installed the decorations.
I’m absolutely thrilled with them.

I think the sheep needs a name. Please pop your suggestions in the comments and I’ll choose a random winner who will get a £5 voucher to spend in the shop.

Lovely free pattern on offer on this website.

I stock Symfonie yarns. It’s a very good quality wool based yarn made in India. There’s some gorgeous colours too. Have a look at their website and let me know if you’d like me to order anything.

Children’s craft workshops will be held every Tuesday 10am to 12pm throughout the school holidays starting 22nd July in stall 39 in Pontypool Indoor Market and will be £3 per session.

I’ve been crocheting mandalas recently and have some available for sale at £10 each.
If you’d like to make your own, I have kits available which include the yarn, hoop and crochet hook along with the pattern for £7 each.
Without the hoop they make fantastic placemats.
The pattern on its own is £2.50.

I’ll be taking these with me to Pontypool Party in the Park on Saturday.

The shop will shut at 2pm today, Friday 4th July and reopen 9.30am on Tuesday 8th as we’re off on a trip in Myfanwy to Paignton to see our youngest.

This new yarn by King Cole arrived yesterday. It’s a chunky version of Simply Denim which is a gorgeously soft mix of cotton and acrylic. There are lots of patterns for all the family and is priced at £5 per 100g ball.

I’ve had an order of knitting and crochet books and cards in. Prices are on each book or box.
Pop in and have a look to see if anything takes your fancy.
There’s also lots of second hand books and magazines available not just about knitting and crochet. These are priced at just £2 for the books and £1 for the magazines.
