Our latest workshop addition arrived yesterday ( our new 240 litre hot water, ultrasonic parts cleaner.
Today we started to play with it to see what it can do!
The 1st tests are very positive but i think we will need to experiment with the programming for a bit to get the Time & Temperature correct for different parts.

I have not got the full history on this car but it could be quite a rare car, it has "Teddy Bear" upholstery ( conplete with DVD screens & Picnic Tables ??

Hi Folks. I was doing a bit of trawling on Ebsy this afternoon & I am gobsmacked to see that there are now a couple of people on there selling Dongles for the Hawkeye Total at ridiculous prices.
We have a bit of a backstop, when Bearmach was still going they had a number of Hawkeye Total diagnostics tools in stock & were offering a discount on them.
We purchased one as a standby to our Nanocom, we had need of a dongle so we approached Bearmach only to learn they didn't have any ( hence the reason for the discount).
So we set about manufacturing them ourself & offered them for sale on our page, on hearing of this Bearmach approached us to sell them a set for evaluation & test purposes, we refused so they then gave us a order for an initial 250 pieces ( 50 of each dongle in the set of 5 dongles), this led to further orders on the agreement that we would not undercut them on the price if we sold direct. By the time Bearmach closed we had supplied them over 450 units, when they closed we still had some in stock so we started selling direct ( obviously our agreement fell out the window). We were retailing them at £55 each ( including Uk delivery cost).
I can inform anyone interested that we can still produce them today ( against a fixed order) & we are happy to continue selling them at the original price of £55 each, if you order more we will give a discount.
Perhaps the market will stop Ripping people off if there is a bit of completion.

Today we went on a reconnaissance mission to the top of a Welsh mountain to rescue a long lost, beloved P38 from it's place of hiding ( since 2013).
The lady owner has asked if we could admit her car into our P38 hospital and try to bring it back to life.
Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us & breathing was difficult when you are not acclimatised to working at altitude.
Don't worry we have agreed to assist the damsels in distress ( that is the car & her owner).
We will create posts of the progress on this lovely P38s journey back to being the owner's pride & joy.

"Note To Self"...
I must be careful in future when I brag about my ability regarding being able to rebuild "Any" Landrover!
My wife handed me a gift for my birthday along with a card that said OK Big mouth, I will give you 2 weeks to rebuild these ones".
