Good Afternoon Everyone,

What a change to the weather we are seeing today. It looks like winter has finally left us for 2026 and we are onto much brighter and warmer Spring weather.

We have already had Residents and their families outside today enjoying the sunshine which has been lovely to see🌅

We are looking forward to ramping up our outside activities during the Spring and Summer seasons and preparations are already underway for exciting Summer Plans 🍹🍦

On Mothering Sunday, Ty Bryn would like to send love to all of the women who have played a mothering role to people who weren't their own children, to the people who have the role of mum and dad, those who want to be mums and those who have lost their mums but have made them the wonderful people they are. Today we celebrate and value you ❤️💙 wishing you all a lovely Mothering Sunday.

We have been away hibernating over the winter period … 🫢
BUT we are back now that it is spring !!

We hope that you are all as glad as we are that Spring is finally here and that we are one small step closer to the warmer weather 🌅

Our residents cannot wait to be able to sit outside and enjoy themselves once more.

Good Morning Everyone,

Ty Bryn is looking for a hairdresser that would be willing to come in once a week so that our wonderful residents can have their hair done. We would be looking for someone that is able to complete Perms and sets for the women as well as general tidying up. We would need someone to also be able to give our gents their hair cut as well.

Ty Bryn is looking to complete some refurbishments within our building towards the end of 2025. We are looking for local and reliable companies that would be interested in providing us with a quotation 🖊

We would need a company to be flexible due to the complexity of timeframes within the home.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

We hope you have had an amazing start to your week. We all had an amazing day on Friday with our "Hawaiian Day: Ty Bryn Edition".

Ty Bryn had mocktails, Fruit salads, savoury snacks and Plenty of squash 🍹

All of our residents had an amazing day and we all fully embraced the true Aloha spirit. We have plenty more days planned by our Activities team which will allow our Residents to experience other cultures from around the world 🌍

We will keep you posted on the details of our next adventures soon 🌈

Good Afternoon Everyone,

We hope you are all enjoying the latest heatwave that is covering Wales and the rest of the UK ☀️

We are building up to our "Hawaiian Day" this Friday and preparation is well underway 🏝🇺🇸

We will be having our very own "Ty Bryn Mocktails 🍹" as well as plenty of Hawaiian themed activities for our wonderful residents to take part in. We will also be doing our very best in dressing up in Hawaiian Clothes and showing our inner "Moana" and "Maui".

We will be sure to keep photos posted on here, however, if you have a family member or friend currently staying with us then please make sure that you are following our Private families page where photo's of your loved ones will be posted throughout the course of the day 📸 We also post on those pages regularly ✅

One of the most common phases in Hawaii is "Aloha" which is often used to describe "Love, affection, peace and compassion"

In that spirit = we wish Aloha to everyone 🇺🇸

Good Afternoon everyone,

It has been a little while since we have posted, but , we are back full time again and ready to show and tell you all about Ty Bryn 😁

The last month we have done many things with our residents such as: taken them shopping, taken them to a local arts and crafts club, had entertainment performances within the home as well as celebrating fathers day 🥳

As you can imagine, with the weather slowly improving over time and more sustained warmer weather it has been very warm up at Ty Bryn but fear not, we have made sure our residents have been kept as cool as possible and also as protected as possible should they choose to sit in the sunshine. We have certainly had one or two ice lolly's being opened over the last few weeks 😅

Our quote for today is "Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is youer than you" - Dr Seuss.
