☕🍰 What a morning! Today we hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Libanus Lifestyle - Wales CIC , and it was such a joy to see so many of you come together for coffee, cake, and conversation 💚

Thanks to your generosity, we raised £117.15 in support of the incredible work Macmillan Cancer Support does 👏✨

A huge thank you to Libanus Lifestyle for the beautiful venue, to Barclays Bank and Age Friendly Caerphilly for joining us and showing their support!

Today we come together to show support for the 55 million+ living with Alzheimer’s disease worldwide. 💙

As the most common form of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease affects most people at some point in their lives.

💙 How can we support our loved ones? 💙
💟Patience and understanding: give extra time for conversations and tasks.

💟Routine and familiarity: consistency is key to reducing confusion and anxiety

💟Connection: small gestures such as hand holding and looking through photos can bring comfort in the fog.

💟Live and let live: often Alzheimer’s sufferers live in a world long gone, support them with this and try not to bring them to the jarring present.

Whether through kindness, awareness or research, let’s work together to create a world where no one faces Alzheimer’s alone. 💛💙

Alzheimer’s affects millions worldwide, yet awareness, understanding, and support can make a real difference. To help, our Registered Care Manager, Rhiannon and Care Talent & Engagement Lead, Eden recently climbed Snowdon to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society raising an overall total of £6915! 🏔️

At Bluebird Care, we are committed to providing exceptional care for customers living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. All our care experts have specialized dementia care training, so we can support more people and ensure they live with dignity, comfort, and understanding.
