Your role will be to service, maintain and repair our hire fleet which are the leading brands in their field. As we are the main dealer for Takeuchi Mini Excavators, Thwaites Dumpers, Bomag Compaction, Atlas Copco & Epiroc you will carry out various work on world leading brands. The company will provide the successful candidate with excellent training opportunities.

This is a permanent role, Monday – Friday, 42.5 hours per week.

The right candidate must be adaptable with good problem-solving & communication skills to work closely with our depot teams & customers

You will need the following skills / abilities for the role of service engineer:

• Experience in servicing and repairing manufacturers plant equipment.
• Experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
• Trained to NVQ level 2 or 3 Plant Maintenance preferred (but not essential)
• Work effectively within a team.
• Have your own tools.

CBL (Clive Barford Ltd) : Yardperson at our centre in Pyle, Bridgend, South Wales.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors to join our construction machinery maintenance team. This position requires heavy lifting and work in all weather conditions.

The role would include washing machines, assisting engineers with repairs, general housekeeping duties, assisting customers and managing the yard area to a high standard.

You must have good communication skills and good health and safety awareness as you would be helping customers in our busy yard. Some knowledge of construction plant/machinery would be preferable but not essential. You should also be customer focused, work well in a team and be self-motivated, well organised and tidy.

We can offer the right candidate training internally and externally, competitive salary, pension, good holiday pay, life assurance cover and potential for promotion. We will also provide you with all the PPE and materials needed to carry out your role.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week.

Experienced HGV Driver (Class 1 or 2 to drive beavertail plant lorry)

CBL (Clive Barford Ltd) are looking for an experienced HGV Driver to join the team at their Bridgend, Wales centre on a permanent, full time basis. Valid HGV licence essential, experience in loading and unloading construction machinery preferred.
This is a good opportunity to join a leading, family owned, construction equipment specialist in Southern Britain.
This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42½ hours per week but you must be flexible with regard to hours due to the nature of the work.
You will be responsible for the successful delivery and collection of plant as well as ensuring the working order of your vehicle and safely securing all loads carried. Duties also include: planning delivery schedules and routes; loading and unloading plant machinery; making sure loads are safely secured; following traffic reports and altering your route if necessary; completing delivery paperwork.
You will receive a very competitive salary depending on experience, pension and excellent company benefits including life assurance and optional health care cover at company rates. Safety/corporate clothing provided as required.

• Experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems
• Trained to NVQ level 2 or 3 Plant Maintenance preferred (but not essential)
• Have a full clean driving licence
• Have your own tools
• Work effectively within a team
