In HypnoBirthing we like to referring to your ‘birthing time’ or ‘birth month.’ A ‘due date’ is just an estimate and in reality, a baby is considered to be at ‘term’ from 37-42 weeks. That’s quite a big window for baby to be born in and a baby isn’t truly ‘early’ or ‘late’ unless born outside of this window. Baby will come when they are ready, so referring to a birth month takes the focus away from a specific day and helps you to feel more relaxed and enjoy the experience.

C is for Comfort Levels

We don’t talk about ‘pain’ in in HypnoBirthing. Pain is a word that can carry all sorts of negative connotations. We want to focus on remaining positive, calm and in control. Instead, we talk about comfort levels which is a much gentler way to think about the experience.
