Come join us this morning at 9:30 at Gartholwg lifelong learning centre for our Hatha style yoga class.

This class is perfect for anyone looking to unwind, relax, and improve their overall physical and mental well-being.

During the class, our experienced yoga instructor will guide you through a series of poses and breathing exercises designed to help you release tension, increase flexibility, and improve your focus and concentration.

As it’s here’s a 5 minute guided meditation to try
1. Find a quiet and comfortable place where you can sit or lie down without any distractions.

2. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for a few seconds, and then release it slowly through your mouth.

3. Focus your attention on your breath and notice how it feels as it enters and exits your body. Allow your breath to become slower and deeper.

4. As thoughts come into your mind, acknowledge them and then let them go. Don't try to push them away or hold onto them.

5. Visualize a bright light in the center of your chest, radiating outwards and filling your entire body with warmth and love.

6. Imagine this light spreading outwards and enveloping the entire world, bringing peace, love, and compassion to all beings.

7. Stay with this visualization for a few minutes, allowing yourself to feel the connection and unity with all beings.

8. When you're ready, take a deep breath in, hold it for a few seconds, and then release it slowly.

9. Gently open your eyes and take a moment to notice how you feel.

10. Carry this feeling of love and compassion with you throughout your day and share it with those around you.

Hello,

Welcome to Tair Afon Yoga! I’m Nerys and I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years. During lockdown I decided that having a new born and a toddler wasn’t enough work and embarked on completing my yoga teacher training! This has now been completed and I’m thrilled that I can now share my love of yoga with you all!

I am currently in the process of securing venues across RCT so watch this space!
