How does the Ayurvedic Massage work?

Ayurvedic Massage is one of the tools that is used in Ayurvedic practice to help rebalance energy, revitalize & relax the body, and strengthen body, mind & spirit.

Before the first massage, you will go through an initial consultation which allows me to determine the herbal oil that will be most suitable to your individual mind- body constitution/type.

The oil is warmed before the massage, generous quantities of this herb infused oil are used to help open and cleanse the energy channels in the body.

I will be using combination of lighter and deeper strokes.
Long, gliding strokes follow the energy channels of the body & work on the nerves.
Pinching & kneading are also used to help release tension caused by the unconscious guarding of the body in response to emotional stress.

Marma points are treated to assist the of vital energy and the whole body is massaged.

👐 Marma Abhyanga - full body massage with marma points £60

🦶 Padabhyanga - lower legs & feet treatment ( alternative to reflexology) £40

💆‍♀️ Mukhabhyanga - face massage with marma points £40
