We treat people of all sges including babies.

You will be treated on your first visit. Osteopathic treatment combines manipulation, mobilisation and massage to get your body functioning efficiently again. Our approach is hands-on treatment and rehabilitation to reduce your pain and get you mobile again. Our approach is gentle and suitable for babies and children as well as patients well into their 80s and 90s. We also see patients throughou

t their pregnancy and after the birth to assist with the mechanical strain of looking after a small child. Most patients consult us for low back pain which may be associated with sciatica. Often back pain is due to long standing postural adaptations eg a leg length discrepancy or from repeated trauma. Patients also consult us for neck pain and headaches, sometimes with referred pain to the upper arm due to nerve impingement. All of our practitioners are highly trained in neurological and orthopaedic examination. We can diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal problems. We aim to get you pain free as quickly as possible.

I have the pleasure of treating many babies at our clinic, using gentle cranial osteopathy techniques. I have always been impressed by the ways parents use to soothe their little ones, but this week music has played a large part in the treatment process. One baby slept to Metallica, another to Guns and Roses!! Hoping for a bit of Abba or maybe Steriophonics next week!! ( just putting that out there!)

We are looking for a passionate osteopath to join our team at Pontypridd Osteopathic Clinic.

We need someone for 2-3 days a week to enable the principal to reduce her hours. Mentoring will be provided for new graduates but you must have the personality and necessary skills in order to build and maintain your own list of patients.

WE ARE HIRING!

We are looking for a part-time receptionist to work every Monday and Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays 9-5 (20 hours a week) It will be a job share and will include cover for holidays .

The applicant needs to be good with people, be organised, honest, reliable and be able to deal with the elderly as well as young families with babies.

We need someone who can work autonomously, able to manage 2 diaries for a number of therapists. IT skills are a must and the ability to deal with confidential information.

We are a close team of various practitioners and therapists and we need someone to be a team player and commit to a long term role. A Welsh speaker would be a bonus.
