Angela Cavil is the principal osteopath of Pontypridd Osteopathic Clinic. Qualified in 1988, Angela is now treating the fourth generation of a number of families. She describes this as a pleasure and a privilege.

Seeing patients from a few weeks old until well into their 90s, Angela still enjoys her role as a registered osteopath, no two days are the same. She uses osteopathic manipulative techniques, mobilisations , soft tissue massage as well as cranial osteopathy and exercise prescription. Angela is also qualified in medical acupuncture.

A warm welcome and happy 50th birthday to associate osteopath Annette Davidson.

Annette graduated from Swansea University in 2021, with a masters degree in osteopathy (MOst). Originally from Northern Ireland, Annette has worked in both England and Wales, now putting down roots in Bridgend.

Annette has a special interest in treating chronic pain in menopausal women. She will be working at our clinic every Monday and Thursday.

Mark Twain Likes Osteopathy.

Mark Twain, the noted humorist recently appeared before the New York Legislature in behalf of osteopathy. Among other things he said:
“I will take a chance with osteopathy for old-times’ sake. When a boy my mother three times tried new remedies on me, and they left me so low that they had to pull me out by the means of the family doctor. I like osteopathy. It is quicker and you don’t have to take any medicine; so I want liberty to do as I choose with my physical body and experiment as much as possible.”
