🌸Dorset Breast Screening Health Promotion team were proud to support Wessex Cancer Alliance at this engagement event today.
The event brought together patients, community members, clinicians and healthcare colleagues to discuss the differences in breast cancer diagnosis, experiences and outcomes of local women from black & ethnic backgrounds and thought about the positive changes that can be made going forwards, seeking better experiences for all. 🌸

📣University Hospitals Dorset are running an open afternoon at Dorset Breast Screening Unit, Poole Hospital on Friday 27th March 2026.

This event is specifically aimed at women with learning disabilities to visit the unit and find out about the services, visit the mammogram rooms and touch equipment, in the hope this will encourage them to attend for breast screening when invited.🙌
