When you attend your routine screening mammogram appointment, you will see and have your mammogram taken by an all female team. The female Radiographer or Assistant Practitioner will talk you through the process while giving you the opportunity to ask questions or discuss any concerns you may have

We loved taking part! 🌸

As the sun set on Bournemouth beach in May, a vibrant crowd of Twilight Walk participants came together in a wave of sparkles and pink to raise awareness and funds for University Hospitals Dorset’s breast cancer services. 💕✨ With full hearts, we're proud to announce that their efforts raised an astonishing £25,435! 🎉🎉

Not only was this our highest attendance since 2019, but because of YOUR INCREDIBLE SUPPORT, this was the highest total fundraised at a Twilight Walk in the past decade! 🤩🤩🤩 This means we, as an NHS charity, can purchase more state-of-the-art equipment, meaningful support and moments of care for those undergoing breast cancer treatment - all above and beyond what the NHS can fund.

A heartfelt thanks to every single person who took part in the Twilight Walk this year. You all helped create a magical and meaningful evening. 💖

Plus, a massive thank you goes to the 2025 Twilight Walk sponsors, Barchester Healthcare and Prime Demolition Ltd, who attended the event in solidarity with breast cancer patients. 🙏
