If you have come this far, maybe you are ready to reach out and share your thoughts & feelings in a calm & comfortable environment. I understand that it can feel daunting to seek support with a personal challenge and it is a privilege to be invited on that journey.
Sometimes you want to be heard, truly heard. To have someone to talk to about whatever is on your mind, to be listened to without being judged or told what to do. If you are feeling unheard, anxious, upset or overwhelmed, I am here to listen and help you to explore your feelings, to better understand them and feel more in control. I offer a supportive and confidential space where we can explore whatever is troubling you. By exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviours - both past and present - I can help you to better understand yourself and to accept and let go of what has been weighing you down, to allow you to move forward.
I also provide counselling for couples going through pregnancy complications, loss or assisted pregnancy.
Working with the right counsellor Following over 13 years working in different areas of the NHS. I have spent the last 3 years providing counselling support on an NHS Gynaecology unit. I am BACP registered and accredited by the Foundation for Infant Loss and qualified in both Person Centred Therapy (PCT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Each individual I work with is unique, no single approach fits all people or issues.
