Chalazion Removal with Dr Cath

We are now offering chalazion removal at Skin ID with Dr Cath, an experienced ophthalmic and oculoplastic surgeon.

A chalazion is a blocked oil gland in the eyelid, often presenting as a painless but persistent lump. While some resolve on their own, others require minor surgical treatment if they do not respond to conservative measures.

The procedure:
• Carried out under local anaesthetic
• A small incision is made on the inside of the eyelid
• The blocked gland contents are carefully removed
• No visible external scarring
• Procedure typically takes around 20–30 minutes
• Same-day discharge with aftercare advice provided

This is a precise, specialist procedure performed in a controlled clinical setting.

Cost: £550
