It goes like this:

Four sets of:

Bicep Curl to Overhead Press - 10 Reps
Rows - 10 Reps
Tricep Kickbacks - 10 Reps
Lateral Raise - 10 Reps
Hammer Curls - 10 Reps

Had a great time at my first in Ft. Lauderdale in Florida.

It's always good to meet so many wheelchair users and so many people whose lives have improved thanks to my videos.

I'm starting to think I need to put some more effort into attending and showcasing what I do at these.

Personal highlight was meeting and .adaptfit 2 absolute legends of adaptive fitness! Yes they are even more awesome in person!

This is a huge step (roll, push?) for us; not just as a business, but as a movement. Being part of ukactive means we’re joining forces with some of the biggest names in the fitness and leisure industry to make sure disabled people have a stronger voice at the table.

On a practical level, this membership connects Adapt to Perform with a network of organisations driving positive change in health, fitness, and accessibility. It means access to insights, resources, and collaborations that will help us push for more inclusive fitness spaces across the UK.

On a personal level, it’s something I’m incredibly proud of. As a wheelchair user and fitness coach, I know the barriers disabled people face when it comes to exercise. Joining ukactive is another step towards breaking those barriers down, together.

This isn’t just about membership. It’s about representation. It’s about ensuring every disabled person knows they belong in the world of fitness. And it’s about showing the industry that inclusion isn’t optional—it’s essential.
