Prostate cancer often presents with no symptoms, which is why regular PSA testing (a simple blood test) is recommended for all men over 45, and for men over 40 with a family history of cancer or Black men. It’s important to never ignore the following symptoms, regardless of age:

• Blood in urine or semen
• Increased frequency of urination
• Weak urine flow or prolonged urination
• A sensation of incomplete bladder emptying or an inability to fully empty the bladder
• Difficulty starting urination
