From the start, we stood up for local families across Dorset.
We built the campaign website.
We launched the petition.
We asked the important questions and so did thousands of you.

But two years on, despite all of our efforts, the Council’s communication has barely improved.
We attended their meeting.
We responded to their engagement.
We’ve pushed and pushed for answers.

And today’s announcement in the Bournemouth Daily Echo shows that lip service has continued, even with huge community support behind us.

In honour of Remembrance Day, our Ferndown branch (AE Jolliffe & Son) has gone above and beyond — not only creating an award-winning tribute, but also connecting with our local community ❤️

🏅Their beautiful window display earned 2nd place for Best Dressed Window at the Ferndown Annual Poppy Appeal Launch — a heartfelt tribute created by the team with respect and remembrance in mind.

In support of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal, the team has also been selling poppies outside Tesco’s in Ferndown, proudly representing our branch and the cause.

Shoutout to Josh, Phil, Adrian, and Helen — each of whom has taken a turn at the stand, meeting familiar faces and welcoming new ones. The local support has been overwhelming, and we believe we’ve already raised over £100! 💷👏

🙏 Thank you to everyone who’s stopped by, supported, and shared in remembrance with us.
