https://www.youtube.com/ or https://linktr.ee/forestholmehospicecharity Forest Holme Hospice provides palliative and end-of life-care and support to more than 1,500 people each year across Poole, Wimborne and the Isle of Purbeck with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses such as Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s, heart disease and respiratory illness. Forest Holme is part of University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust but still needs to raise £1 million each year so that the team can deliver the highest level of care, when and where it counts. Forest Holme Hospice Charity was set-up to ensure that everyone in the local community affected by life-limiting illness or bereavement gets the care and support they need, either at home or in its dedicated hospice facility. The Charity works together with Macmillan Caring Locally to support the provision of Palliative and End-of-Life Care across the geographical remit of University Hospitals Dorset. The hospice has a team of specialist doctors, nurses, counsellors, complementary therapists and specialist care teams who provide practical and emotional support for adults of all ages and their families in a variety of settings, such as their own home, nursing home, care home, in hospital or in the hospice itself. Forest Holme also offers counselling and bereavement support to both newly diagnosed individuals and family members, as it understands that care extends beyond physical treatment of symptoms, as the emotional, psychological, spiritual and social needs of patients, their families, children and carers all need to be considered. The demand for palliative and end-of-life care is ever increasing as people are living longer and have more complex illnesses, so the Charity relies on local support from individuals, companies and groups to help continue the provision of excellent palliative and end-of-life care to patients and their families during the most difficult time of their lives.

Thank you to Cantilena voices for choosing us as their Charity of the Year!

Hearing one of their members share her daughter’s story was incredibly moving. Together they have raised £1,600, through their Summer and Christmas Concerts, along with coffee mornings and their ever-popular hamper raffle, to support families in the same situation.

It has been a pleasure and we are truly grateful for your support💚

How lovely to have Lee and Charlie from NatWest Poole visit us this afternoon, kicking off an exciting year as Corporate Partners!

They joined us at our hospice for a tour and an initial discussion to brainstorm how the team can support us throughout the year — from volunteering and donating items to organising fundraising activities 👏

We’re so grateful to the Poole branch for choosing us as their Charity of the Year and we look forward to seeing a lot more of them throughout 2026 💚

What an absolute gift to have the support of Tim and his wonderful choirs - Citrus Singers, Sing & Grin Choir, Balance Choir, and Academy Junior Singers! 💚

To date, they have raised an incredible £12,554.91 through The Big Sing Church Tour and the reimagined version of Coldplay’s All My Love! This lovely lot have also hosted raffles, sold handcrafted items, performed at our Tie a Yellow Ribbon and Light Up a Life memorial events, and even serenaded our patients, families and staff as part of our 12 Days of Christmas activities at the hospice.👏

Thank you so much for all that you kindly do for us at Forest Holme. We are truly grateful for your continued support in 2026 with new dates coming soon for The Big Sing Church Tour! 💚
