Just finished a fab training afternoon at Langside School with the amazing Diverse Abilities team. Bonding, sharing, empowering activities to remind us all the importance of keeping children at the centre of play, learning, interaction and fun!

What comes after the rain? MUD MUD GLORIOUS MUD!!

A packet of Chocolate Angel Delight and a tin of coconut milk. Mix together for a soft, silky, slithery goo.
And your hands feel so smooth after diving into a bowl of store cupboard mud!

Finding fun tactile resources for our next sensory play training session in a couple of weeks.

Free samples of wallpaper from B+Q and mount board from Dorset Scrapstore and I have some texture boards! Rough/smooth/soft/hard/shiny/matt….

Jovi chose the silver sparkles as his favourite. A whole wall of glittery wallpaper? 😎😎

A bottle of lemonade and sultanas. Watch the sultanas dance up and down in the bubbles. Up and down and up and down.

A bottle of lemonade and some sultanas. Pop the sultanas into the lemonade bottle, hear them fizzzzzzzzzz. And then just watch them dancing up and down, up and down, up and down.

So simple. Store cupboard sensory fun.

A bottle of lemonade and some sultanas. Drop the sultanas in the bottle, hear them fizzzzzzz. And then watch them dance in the bubbles. Up and down, up and down, up and down........

Enjpying messing about with sunset colours and a store cupboard sensory bottle.
An empty Lenor bottle with a bobbled surface (other fabric conditioners are available) some water and food colouring and vegetable oil to sit on top. I added glitter too. And then played for ages tipping upside down to mix the oil and water, and wait while it separated out again!

All because of a sunset….

All I could see around me on today's dog walk were REFLECTIONS.
Which do you see first, the reflection or whatever is being reflected? Or the photobombing spaniel.....

And then I remembered the simple wonder of an upside down relection in a spoon. And the distortion of a reflection on silver paper/tin foil. And how a fairground hall of mirrors always made me giggle. Lots.

So simple!
