This Saturday, I’ll be walking 58 kilometres for the incredible charity Safe Empowerment ❤️

Safe Empowerment supports children, women and men who have experienced domestic abuse, while also delivering powerful education and mentoring programmes that help people rebuild confidence, safety and hope for the future.

I wanted to share exactly where your donations go, because every pound genuinely changes lives.

💛 £50 can fund a mentoring session for a vulnerable child.

That includes support, activities, food and a safe space to talk. Sometimes, heartbreakingly, this may be the first hot meal that child has had that day.

These sessions also support children who have experienced abuse themselves or witnessed domestic abuse and sexual violence in the home.

💛 £31 can give a child access to a 6-week support programme covering subjects such as:
• Mental health & emotional wellbeing
• Anger & emotions
• Confidence & self-esteem
• Peer pressure, drugs & alcohol awareness
• Healthy relationships & online safety
• Sexting, sexual harassment & sexual assault awareness

These programmes give young people the tools, confidence and support they may never have had before.

💛 £66 can support a woman through a self-empowerment programme over a 2½ month period, helping survivors:
• Recognise domestic abuse warning signs
• Rebuild confidence & self-esteem
• Set healthy boundaries
• Learn to trust again
• Focus on self-care & healing
• Create goals and structure for their future

Safe Empowerment doesn’t just provide support in the moment — they help people rebuild their lives with strength, confidence and hope.

Every donation towards this 58km walk will help fund life-changing support for people who truly need it.
