Meet Amelia 💙

Homeopath, Yoga Teacher & a wonderful member of the Kalm Space community!

We’re so excited to celebrate Amelia’s recent achievement, she has officially received her Homeopathic Licentiate certificate! 🥳

Since 2019, Amelia has been case-taking and working with a wide range of physical, emotional and systemic health concerns, gaining strong practical experience through the College of Practical Homeopathy. Her work is deeply holistic, compassionate and always client-centred.

Amelia has supported clients with a broad range of needs, including trauma, grief, hormonal health, stress, detox support, long-term conditions and recovery support - always honouring the body’s innate capacity for healing.

In 2013, Amelia established Sunbeam Yoga, where she teaches all ages and abilities. She loves helping clients feel their best and seeing the progress and benefits that come with regular practice.

We’re delighted to have Amelia practising from Kalm Space and supporting our community in such a thoughtful and empowering way. 🌿

Meet Joanna Brook, Clinical Psychologist and a valued member of the Kalm Space community 💙

Joanna brings over 33 years of professional experience, including 26 years as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Trained at the Institute of Psychiatry, Maudsley Hospital, she previously led specialist NHS services and held national advisory roles within the NHS.

Her approach is compassionate, collaborative and evidence-based, drawing on CBT, Schema Therapy and EMDR, and always guided by NICE recommendations. Joanna places great importance on creating a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, valued and empowered.

Alongside her clinical work, Joanna also works closely with Occupational Health and Welfare teams across the UK.

Meet Laura Prodger, Clinical Psychologist and a wonderful member of the Kalm Space community. 💙

Laura offers a collaborative, compassionate and non-judgemental approach to supporting both children and adults with all aspects of their mental health.

She provides psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions, creating a bespoke package of care tailored to each individual’s needs.

To support progress beyond the therapy room, Laura also designs individualised worksheets to help clients continue their growth between sessions.

We’re so lucky to have the beautiful artwork of Julie Herring displayed throughout Kalm Space, bringing calm and creativity to our rooms 🌿

Julie will be hosting an Open Day at her Earth Art & Design Studio in Wareham, a wonderful opportunity to explore her work, meet the artist, and see examples of artwork created on the drawing, painting and printmaking courses.

This September, our beautiful therapy rooms will host Reiki 2 with Beverley Densham - a gentle, immersive course to deepen your Reiki journey.

Whether you’re looking to heal yourself, support loved ones (even your pets!), or offer Reiki professionally, this course will support you every step of the way.

With 27+ years of experience, Beverley Densham is a Mindfulness Pilates teacher, author & Reiki Master dedicated to helping you feel stronger, calmer & happier — inside and out.

From running successful Pilates studios to now teaching by the sea in Dorset, Bev combines Pilates, meditation, journalling & mindset work to ease back pain, reduce stress and support your wellbeing.
