Allow us to introduce you to Aries practitioner Jane Hutchinson, who specialises in Bowen Therapy.
“Horses have always been a big part of my life. From a young age, I was immersed in the equestrian world, riding and competing at area level with both Pony Club and Riding Club. My passion for horses even took me to the US and Spain, where I explored different approaches to horsemanship, focusing on behaviour, communication, and the deep connection between horse and rider.
But my fascination with how the body moves and heals goes far beyond the saddle. Over the years, I’ve come to understand how posture, tension, and movement patterns affect not only our physical wellbeing but also how we perform in all areas of life, whether that’s in sport, at work, or simply getting through the day pain-free.
This passion led me to Bowen Therapy. As a qualified Bowen therapist, I work with people from all walks of life, athletes recovering from injuries, individuals healing after surgery, and anyone looking to relieve pain, improve mobility, or reduce stress. Bowen Therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment that helps release tension, restore balance, and support the body’s natural ability to heal.
For riders, it can mean a more relaxed, confident seat and a stronger partnership with their horse. For sportspeople, it can support recovery, enhance performance, and reduce the risk of future injuries; for anyone recovering from surgery or injury, it’s a powerful tool to ease discomfort and promote healing.
At its core, Bowen Therapy is about helping people reconnect with their bodies, find comfort and confidence in their movement, and get back to doing the things they love, whether that’s riding, competing, or simply enjoying life to the fullest.”
