Recently, we celebrated National Pizza Day by getting creative and making our own homemade pizzas!

We explored a variety of bases, from traditional pizza dough to French sticks and even rolls, proving you can make a delicious pizza with almost any bread base.

Everyone chose their favourite toppings, from a classic Margherita or adding, colourful vegetables, serrano ham, and pepperoni. The results were absolutely delicious and great fun to make together

Every year, St Aldhelm’s, Branksome comes alive with the Christmas Tree Decorating Festival 🎄. Our care home had the pleasure of participating in this lovely tradition. Everyone loved being surrounded by so many wonderful trees and festive spirit, and also enjoyed taking part in decorating their own tree.

On the first day of Christmas, we gathered to paint pottery, share smiles, and celebrate the season together 🎄🎨 Our pottery painting session was the perfect way to celebrate the season together and was made extra special with Splat Pottery!

Not only did we turn ONE, but we celebrated in festive style!

We marked our first birthday with a special Christmas party for our residents, families, friends, and the local community.

Since reopening in December 2024 after extensive refurbishment, our beautiful Victorian home has become a proud part of the Branksome Park community. We wanted to celebrate this milestone with the people who matter most, our residents, families, friends, and the wonderful local groups who have made us feel so welcome, including the pupils from Victoria School.

The afternoon was made even more magical with a special visit from Santa, who arrived with some of his reindeer, delighting visitors of all ages.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’d like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a healthy, peaceful New Year from everyone at Park Manor Care Home.

We’ve always known that Nat, our wonderful Wellbeing Lead, is incredibly talented.

With an art degree, she brings a flair and creativity that we love. But what a lovely surprise to see the work she’s done in the entrance to the home, hand-painting the windows with beautiful Christmas designs.

You cant help but get into the Christmas spirit with Park Manor looking so beautiful and all set for our upcoming 1st Birthday celebration.
