This new legislation requires public venues and events with a capacity of 200+ to take proactive steps to protect the public from terrorist threats. That includes risk assessments, emergency planning, and physical harm mitigation - much like fire or health and safety law.
💥 Non-compliance carries serious penalties, with fines reaching £18 million or 5% of global turnover. Inspections are expected.
