It's been a busy week at Heal to toe. We have treated everything from plantar fascitis on the feet all the way up the body to stubborn neck pain.
Several clients have had relaxation therapies and floated out of the clinic.

We hope everyone enjoys the hokey koke tonight but please keep your hips in and if you have to do the pelvic twist remember to hold your knees in tight (admit it..... Who sang that?)

I was once told if you love your job you will never work a day in your life.
This is so true. My whole purpose in life is to help people and I have the ability to do that at Heal to Toe in Upton.

When you come for a treatment I really listen to what you say. Sometimes, it's difficult to explain a feeling but you are the expert on your body. If you tell me it feels like a rolled up sock under your foot then I get it.

I observe from the moment I see you I'm looking at how you hold yourself, how you move, sit, stand. I'm looking at your muscles do they look short and tight are they pulling on your spine hips or joints?

I palpate, is the temperature similar all over, does the soft tissue feel and move like it should? Are the muscles pliable?.

I then devise the best way to treat you as you are a glorious individual so your treatment should be as unique as you.

During treatment I massage, mobilise, manipulate, I may use other therapies, taping or acupuncture.

After treatment I give any rehab advice that would be the best fit for you. Don't worry, I don't give too many exercises at any one time.

We have closed the doors to celebrate Christmas with our families.

I would just like to take a moment to thank all of our wonderful clients who put their trust in us to help.
We are always grateful for your return visits, bringing your families and telling new people about us.
Thank you so much for all of the presents, cards and Christmas blessings.

Jan will be open on 29th for anyone who twists lifting the turkey out of the oven or slips down the stairs carrying presents. Don't forget if you are playing twister with the kids maybe do it sober to prevent any tweaks. (Drink copious amounts afterwards when you win).

Nikki will have availability over the Christmas period so please, phone the clinic and we will be able to make an appointment for you.
