🐣🌸 What a wonderful Easter Bank Holiday weekend we’ve had at Lilliput House Care Home! 🌸🐣

Our home has been full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of Easter fun over the weekend 💛

We enjoyed a fantastic Easter Bonnet Competition, with some absolutely brilliant creations on display – full of colour, creativity, and lots of personality! 🎩🐰🌼

Of course, no Easter weekend would be complete without lots and lots of chocolate 🍫🐣 and plenty of sweet treats for everyone to enjoy!

To make the weekend even more special, we also had the absolute pleasure of celebrating Beryl’s 103rd Birthday 🎉🎂
What an incredible milestone and such a wonderful occasion to share together with love, laughter, and birthday cheer.

A truly lovely weekend making special memories with our residents, families, and team 💐✨

We still have one more egg that we are hoping will hatch over the next day to continue completing our Lilliput House Care Home family name 🐥

🐣 Exciting News at Lilliput House Care Home! 🐣

Today, we have welcomed three very special new members to the Lilliput House family… please say hello to Lilly, Indigo and Lilibet! 💛

Born right here today at Lilliput House, our three fluffy little arrivals are doing really well, and our residents have absolutely loved watching the hatching process unfold. It has been such a lovely and exciting experience for everyone involved! 🥚✨

We are busy doing our research, reading all the information leaflets, and making sure the care we provide for our newest additions is tip top 🐥📚

Yesterday, Lovely Brenda thoroughly enjoyed a lovely trip out to our local patisserie, where she treated herself to a jam-filled doughnut and a cup of coffee ☕🍩

Brenda and our Activities Assistant, Emma, finished off their tasty treats before enjoying a sunny walk around the local area 🌞🚶‍♀️

A wonderful afternoon was had by all! 💛

🎉 Lilliput House Care Home – Krypton Factor Games Afternoon 🎉

This weekend at Lilliput House Care Home, we held our very own Krypton Factor Games Afternoon – and what a fantastic time we had! 💙

Residents were split into two teams and competed against each other with lots of support and encouragement from our amazing Lilliput House staff.

The afternoon included lots of fun challenges such as:
🥚 Egg and spoon race
🎯 Ring toss
🧱 Building blocks
🧠 General knowledge quiz

There was plenty of laughter, team spirit, and a little bit of healthy competition too… things definitely got very competitive! 😄

A wonderful afternoon enjoyed by everyone, creating more happy memories together at Lilliput House. 💛

Yesterday, we had a lovely visit from Guinness and Alfie the alpacas 🦙💛

We always enjoy their visits and the wonderful opportunity for our residents to interact with these gentle, friendly animals. Their visits bring so much joy, laughter, and smiles to everyone at the home.

Thank you, Guinness and Alfie , for another very special afternoon — we can’t wait to see you again! 🥰

This week, our amazing Activities Assistant Emma took Bernard out for a very special treat ☕🍰

They visited a lovely local patisserie where they enjoyed delicious cake and coffee together, followed by a relaxing stroll by the marina, taking in the fresh air and beautiful views.

Moments like these mean so much—supporting our residents to get out, enjoy their community, and create wonderful memories 💙

We had a fabulous day celebrating Mother’s Day on Sunday at Lilliput House. 💐

We hosted a wonderful Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea Party for all our residents, friends, and families. The afternoon was filled with laughter, delicious treats, and plenty of fun. 🎩☕🍰

It was so special to see everyone come together to celebrate the amazing mothers and share such a joyful afternoon. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable!

🎉 Happy 100th Birthday Betty! 🎂

Today we are celebrating an incredible milestone here at Lilliput House as Betty turns 100 years young!

Betty was born in 1926, a time when the average house cost around £650, a loaf of bread cost just 2d, and the average weekly wage was about £3. It was also the year Queen Elizabeth II was born and the much-loved children’s book Winnie-the-Pooh was first published. Betty has truly lived through a century of remarkable history and change.

Yesterday Betty enjoyed a wonderful celebration surrounded by friends and family, and it was clear how much the occasion meant to her. She was especially delighted to receive her birthday card from King Charles III and Queen Camilla, which made the day even more special. 👑💌

From everyone at Lilliput House, we wish Betty the happiest 100th birthday. Thank you for letting us share such a special moment with you. 🎈💐

🎪 Lilliput Carnival Weekend at Lilliput House 🎪

What a fantastic weekend we had hosting the Lilliput House Carnival! 🎉

Residents and staff enjoyed lots of fun carnival games including hook-a-duck, knock the cans, ring toss, and bumper cars! 🐥🥫🎯🚗

There was plenty of laughter, smiles, and wonderful memories made by all. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the weekend such a special and joyful event 💕
