Yesterday we hosted our Prama Carers Rights Day event at the Allendale Centre in Wimborne. A big thanks to the for being the main event sponsors and for putting together an amazing prize for the raffle, which allowed us to raise a total of £175. We really appreciate all the support form all of the companies who sponsored the event: Promedica24, Dorset Legal Services, Douch Family Funeral Directors, Careline365, Utility Warehouse, Colton Care, Ridgewater Energy, UB Healthcare and Care UK.

We’re very excited to announce that PramaLife has been selected to participate in the Big Give’s Christmas Campaign 2025.
That means that every donation made to PramaLife via our Big Give campaign page during the week of 2nd - 9th December 2025 will be doubled. 💕

So whatever you can give, no matter the size, every donation will make double the
difference in helping us to support people living with dementia and their carers.
The money raised will help fund PramaLife's 18 support groups for people living with dementia and 10 support groups for family carers. Participants of these groups experience better health and well-being and receive the support they need to mitigate the impact of dementia, as one carer said: “It’s been a life saver for us.”

Following a request from residents, Sue Warr from Prama recently visited Stanfield Close Sheltered Scheme to chat about the support available through Prama Life and Prama Care.

Residents picked up some really helpful information, especially around the practical help available to carers. Even if someone’s supporting a loved one and don’t see themselves as a carer, there’s support out there.

It’s great to see residents getting informed and empowered. 💙

This year we have joined in partnership with local waste company Avon Material Supplies Ltd to provide a Prama Christmas Tree recycling service "Treecycling". For a minimum suggested donation of £10, we can collect your Christmas tree direct from your property on the 8th or 9th January. All collected tress are recycled by AMS and processed into new products. All donations we receive from this service will help us further support adults managing ill health, disability or age-related issues and their carers across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and East Dorset.
