Are you looking for some extra help?

Our East Dorset Good Neighbours initiative has been created to help out people locally with small one off tasks, from walking the dog to changing a lightbulb. Have you got a few hours to spare each month? Would you like a fulfilling volunteering role that supports people living with dementia or memory loss?

We're looking for a couple of volunteers to make the tea and coffee at our Musical Memories Group as well as deliver a quiz (that will be provided by our team).
We're looking for people that would be available between 1.45pm - 3:30pm one Tuesday per month with the first session scheduled to start 16th September.

We have a great opportunity to join our PramaLife team as a Memory Lane Group Leader. The role is 4.52 hours per week every Friday with the group running between 1pm and 5pm.

The main purpose of the role is to provide a safe and inclusive environment for the group activities, organise games, reminiscence activities, music, quizzes etc to stimulate participants cognitive skills, ensuring that participants receive person centred support and to support a team of volunteers that deliver the group activities.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Highcliffe Golf Club's Captains Charity Day on Saturday 19th July. A total of 140 golfers took part with all proceeds raised going towards supporting PramaLife.

A big thanks to our Prama golf team on the day, which was made up of our trustee David Cawdery, Tony Lock, Stephen Boyd & Peter Brickell. Thanks also to everyone who supported with donations, raffle tickets and auction bids, helping the Golf Club to raise a significant amount of money to help us support older adults within the local community.
