Meet our New Team -

Yesterday, we held the first meeting of our new Compass Project Team.

We welcome our new Admin Assistant, Liz and our new Mission and Outreach Worker, John.

Thanks to support from the Church of Scotland Seeds for Growth Fund, Priority Areas and our wonderful Congregation, we are able to employ a part time Admin Assistant and full time Mission and Outreach Worker for our new Compass Project.

The main focus of our Compass Project will be to:

Grow our connection with young people resulting in a new worshipping community that develops faith. With new young people becoming Christians and engaging in our Church.

Grow our connection with families in the community resulting in new expressions of worship with new people becoming Christians and engaging in our Church.

Revitalisation of our existing congregation as we equip ourselves to take part in this new Compass Project and in supporting new Worshipping Communities.

🟩 Liz is a mum of 4, a member of Lyle Kirk at Union Street and has been a local Councillor since 2017.

Liz is looking forward to rolling up her sleeves to work with us all as our new Admin Assistant and prays for Gods will as the Compass Project develops.

🟩 John is a member of our Church and says that he is full of anticipation for what lies ahead. He looks forward to working alongside our Church and Community as we continue to share God’s love in practical and meaningful ways.

Our Church has continued to grow, now open 7 days a week from morning until night with so many new ideas and future projects bubbling away. The addition of our new team members is very welcome indeed as we work together in serving God and the people of this wonderful town.
