⚠️ Meningitis B Update – Important Information for Patients
We’re aware of the meningitis B outbreak currently affecting the Canterbury/Kent area. We want to reassure our community that there is no outbreak in Cornwall at this time, and there is no local public health alert.
Meningitis can develop quickly, so it’s important to know the signs. If you or someone you care for experiences symptoms such as fever, severe headache, neck stiffness, rash, drowsiness, vomiting, or cold hands/feet, please seek medical advice promptly via NHS 111.
