It’s been a lovely and busy time here! Residents have been enjoying a variety of activities, from walking and chatting to learning how to speak Welsh a brand new session we’re excited to be trying out. We’ve also been delighted to welcome our new resident, Annette, who has already settled in so well and made new friends.

The men have been keeping very busy with their chess games and let’s just say the competition is fierce! ♟️ Our sensory room is also coming along beautifully, and we’ll be sharing a video very soon.

A huge thank you to all our families and friends for your generous foodbank donations. The Bethel Trust will be collecting the basket tomorrow morning and distributing the food to the Aberavon and Baglan community. Collections will take place once a month, and you are more than welcome to add a few items to the basket whenever you visit.

Special thanks to Pam Evans for the beautiful, warm blankets she lovingly made for our residents they are truly appreciated.

Finally, thank you to everyone who has supported us with donations over the past few months. We are so grateful for your kindness, and everything has been put to great use especially the wool and needles! Your continued support means so much to our residents and staff. 💕

This week has been a lovely one, with residents enjoying games, laughter, and meaningful chats with one another. The home has felt full of energy and connection.

We are also delighted to welcome a student from Neath College every Monday as part of her placement. The residents have been thoroughly enjoying her presence, and it’s been wonderful to see the positive interactions forming.

Our Sensory Room project is now underway, with TW Group contractors working incredibly hard behind the scenes. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as the project progresses.

In addition, we’ve been decluttering and organising our costume collection something the residents absolutely love, as dressing up with staff always brings so much joy and fun. There will be plenty more photos to share very soon.

We have Church services for Roman Catholic and Church of Wales residents once a month .

Both Tiny Tablets are working in Penderyn. Residents been enjoying playing on it .

Our Llys y Seren Foodbank is in the foyer , so don’t forget to drop your dry ingredients to support our Aberavon & Baglan Community. 🤗

This year, we are proud to give back to our community.

Our residents know what it was like growing up during the ration days, when food was scarce and families had to support one another.

Those memories have inspired them to help families in need today. By sharing what they can, they hope to bring comfort, kindness, and a little hope to those who need it most.

We are linking up with Bethel Trust Port Talbot for them to collect the food each month 🤗

Every little counts and our residents are very excited to start this project , so let’s support each other and make a difference 💙🤩
