Do you get help towards your eye exams or spectacles?

You may be entitled to free sight tests if you:

- Are under 16
- Are in full time education aged 16,17 or 18
- Are aged 60+
- Are a diagnosed glaucoma patient
- Are aged 40+ and are a parent, brother or daughter of a diagnosed glaucoma patient or have been advised by an ophthalmologist that you are at risk of glaucoma
- Are a diagnosed diabetic
- Are registered blind or partially sighted
- Need complex lenses
- Are in receipt of:
• income support
• JSA
• ESA
• Pension credit guarantee credit
• Univeral Credit
- Are entitled to or names on an NHS tax credit exemption certificate
- Are named on a valid HC2 certificate

Our old High Street Mall practice holds so many memories.

It is where our resident Optometrist Elaine has provided exceptional eyecare for nearly twenty years. Where Ciara has been welcoming patients for the past 6 years. Where Rachel P got her first job nearly 5 years ago and has been a familiar face every Saturday since. It’s where I first met Elaine, Ciara, Rachel P and all of our lovely patients and it will always have a place in our hearts.

For now we are continuing to look after your eyes from the Millennium Court building on William Street for another little while.

We are so excited to welcome all of our patients both previous and new into our new practice! I can’t wait for you all to see the work that has went into it and how stunning it looks.

Happy New Year 🎉

As we finish up with 2025 we would just like to thank all of our wonderful patients for trusting us with your eyecare. 2025 has been a year of change for us in Portadown and you have all stuck with us - we can’t thank you enough!

Here’s to 2026 - new year, new practice but same us! We can’t wait to welcome all of you into our beautiful new practice on William Street.
