Practical Marketing Foundations is a 60-minute live training session designed for sole traders and small business owners who want to better understand how their marketing contributes to real commercial outcomes such as enquiries, sales opportunities, and conversions.

Part 1 of a 2-part series, this webinar focuses on practical knowledge transfer and upskilling, rather than theory or jargon, and is aimed at businesses with limited time, budget, or in-house marketing support.

Attendees will learn the essential marketing foundations every small business needs to measure performance with confidence, including:

• What a “lead” really is and how to define it
• How to track where enquiries come from
• How to assess which marketing activities are worth continuing, improving, or stopping.

By the end of the session, participants will leave with a clear, simple framework they can apply immediately to connect marketing activity to business results, make better decisions, and avoid wasted effort.

Eligibility:

Support is available to rural towns and villages with populations under 18,000 across the following council areas:

• Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council
• Mid Ulster District Council
• Cavan County Council
• Donegal County Council
• Leitrim County Council
• Monaghan County Council
• Sligo County Council

You must be a registered SME or micro business to avail of this support.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Simon Dougan.
Simon was a great friend to the Portadown Chamber of Commerce and an advocate for fostering our local talent, championing fresh food / produce and embracing new opportunities.
Simon kindly hosted many events for chamber in the Yellow Door premises in Woodhouse Street Portadown where he enthusiastically engaged many visiting dignitaries and guests to promote our ABC area and the wider NI hospitality sector.
The Exective Board and members of Portadown Chamber of Commerce would like to send our sincere condolences to Jilly, the Dougan family and the entire Yellow Door team on this very sad loss.
