Sharing a short video of John demonstrating how easy this mobility scooter is to take apart. For many people, the biggest challenge isn’t using a scooter; it’s whether it can be lifted, stored, or transported without stress. Seeing how simply it comes apart can help remove that worry.

When mobility becomes easier, it opens doors to everyday moments again; getting out for fresh air, visiting family, running errands, or enjoying a bit of independence without relying on others. The right support can make those small freedoms possible.

If you’d like advice on mobility solutions tailored to your needs, please get in touch. We’re based in Portadown and are happy to chat online or over the phone. We also have a range of options in store so you can try before you buy, ask questions, and find what genuinely works for you.

For years, people with disabilities weren’t represented in the emojis we all use every day; a small but meaningful reminder of how easy it is to overlook real lives and real experiences.

Thanks to campaigners and organisations fighting for better visibility, the Unicode Consortium approved a whole set of inclusive emojis in 2019, giving millions of people the chance to finally see themselves reflected online.

These emojis now include:
• Person in a manual wheelchair 🧑‍🦽
• Person in a powered wheelchair 👩‍🦼
• Person with a white cane 🧑‍🦯
• Prosthetic arm and leg 🦾🦿
• Guide dog 🦮
• Deaf individuals 🧏‍♀️🧏‍♂️
• Sign language representation 🤟

They aren’t just icons, they’re recognition.
A reminder that representation matters everywhere, even in the little symbols we tap without thinking.

👉 Do you use them?
We’d love to know which ones mean the most to you.
