The research undertaken demonstrated that the health care industry could benefit from a service supplier that commits itself fully to the cause without hidden charges, discovered to be causing financial difficulties that were occurring in a number of care establishments. This month, as we celebrate Nutrition Awareness Month, we’re paying special attention to hydration. Jelly Drops are delightful little sweets filled with water, vitamins and electrolytes, designed to gently encourage hydration for those living with dementia.

And today we’re pleased to introduce Emma, our new Jelly Drop Champion, helping us bring this thoughtful innovation into everyday care.

We’ve always believed that the smallest daily rituals, meals shared, cups of tea prepared with care, and a gentle reminder to stay hydrated, can quietly shape a person’s wellbeing. This month, we’re turning our attention lovingly toward something so beautifully simple, yet deeply important: nutrition. 💙

March is Nutrition Awareness Month, and across our Platinum Care family we’ll be celebrating the nourishment that helps our loved ones feel their very best. Good nutrition is more than food on a plate. It is comfort, energy, strength, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone is looking after you with thoughtful care.

Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing little insights, moments from our carers, and a few lovely activities that remind us how joyful healthy living can be. From colourful plates to gentle encouragement at mealtimes, we cherish the role that nourishment plays in supporting independence, dignity, and happiness at home.

We had a little smile to ourselves when we realised how we’d be beginning Nutrition Awareness Month here at Platinum. 🍰

After all, our wonderful Safe Harbour Homecare team has just hosted their Coffee, Cake and Care event… and what better way to introduce the idea of balance?

Nutrition, we’ve found, is rarely about perfection. It’s about enjoying life in good company, sharing laughter around a table, and allowing space for the little treats that make moments feel special. A slice of cake, a warm cup of coffee, and conversation that lifts the spirit can nourish us in ways a recipe book never quite explains.

So we thought balance was the perfect place to start.

Throughout March we’ll be sharing more posts, ideas, and events as we celebrate Nutrition Awareness Month together. Some thoughtful, some helpful… and perhaps a few that remind us that wellbeing is just as much about joy as it is about vegetables.

For now, we’re simply grateful for the moments where care, companionship, and a little sweetness come together so beautifully. And we look forward to sharing much more with you this month. 💙

It has been a month filled with community spirit, meaningful moments, and heartfelt effort in support of the British Heart Foundation. Through our fundraising and awareness initiatives, we have seen what is possible when we move together with shared purpose.

To our remarkable staff, thank you. Your energy, compassion, and commitment have carried this mission forward in ways that truly make a difference. We are endlessly proud of the care you show, not only within our homes but out in the wider community.

What a truly lovely afternoon we shared at our Coffee, Cake and Care event in Hayling Island. 🤍

With warm cups in hand, sweet treats on the table, and plenty of laughter filling the room, it was a joy to see everyone come together. Our Love Bingo brought just the right touch of excitement, and the smiles said it all.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the afternoon so special. Your presence is what turns these gatherings into something meaningful.
