Dot’s dementia doll has been so wonderful for her 💕

It brings her so much comfort, calm and reassurance. Dot has been enjoying gentle cuddles and interaction, which really helps to reduce anxiety and gives her a lovely sense of purpose.

It’s truly heartwarming to see her so content and happy 💖

🎶 What a lovely afternoon we’ve had! 🎶

We had the pleasure of Matt O'Neil entertaining us with his fantastic guitar playing, filling the room with wonderful music and smiles all around. 🎸✨

Matt also kept everyone on their toes with some fun music questions, really getting us thinking and sparking lots of great conversations and memories. 🎤🧠

A big thank you to Matt for such an enjoyable and uplifting afternoon — we can’t wait to have you back! 💛

☘️ Happy St Patrick’s Day ☘️

Today we are celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day with lots of fun activities throughout the day.

This morning started with a lovely cuppa and chat, followed by shamrock crafts and colouring. There has been plenty of Irish music playing while everyone reminisced and shared memories.

This afternoon we have a St Patrick’s Day quiz, a fun “pot of gold” game, and of course some tasty Irish treats with our afternoon tea. 🍰☕

It’s been a lovely day filled with laughter, creativity and togetherness. 💚

Today we celebrated Mother’s Day with a wonderful day full of smiles, love and special moments. 🌸💐and of course a beautiful beef roast, cooked to perfection 👌

Our home was beautifully decorated with bright flowers to mark the occasion, creating a lovely space for everyone to celebrate the amazing mums and nanas in our care. Residents enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea with sandwiches, cakes and sweet treats, while sharing stories and memories of motherhood.

It was a truly special day filled with laughter, chats and togetherness. We hope all the wonderful mums had a day that made them feel loved and appreciated. 💕

Today we are celebrating the amazing women who have shared a lifetime of love, wisdom and care. From beautiful memories and heartfelt chats to smiles and laughter together, it’s a day to remind them just how special they truly are.

A lovely little outing today! 🛍️

We popped out to Portchester Precinct for a bit of shopping and a change of scenery. It was lovely to stroll around the shops, have a chat along the way and enjoy being out and about in the community.

Trips like this are so important for wellbeing, independence and staying connected with our local community. Sometimes it’s the simple outings that bring the biggest smiles! 😊

✨ We had a magical visit from Silly Scott Comedy Magician and Children's Entertainer yesterday! ✨
All of our residents were fully engaged and had such a wonderful time enjoying the show. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and plenty of magical moments throughout the visit.
Thank you, Silly Scott, for bringing so much fun and joy to everyone – we can’t wait to have you back again! 🎩✨😊

🌸🌼 We are definitely feeling the signs of spring! 🌼🌸

Today was full of bright, beautiful colours as we spent some time doing a little bit of potting for our garden. There was plenty of chit chat, laughter and lovely reminiscing along the way.
We also enjoyed a bit of colouring together, choosing bright spring colours which brought lots of smiles and conversation. 🎨🌷

It’s wonderful to see the garden slowly coming to life again as we continue preparing for Buckland in Bloom. Our residents are really enjoying being part of making the garden bright and beautiful. 🌿🌺

We had a lovely fun-filled day with our Easter arts and crafts and games today! 🐣🎨
Our residents had lots of fun getting creative, sharing laughs, and enjoying the activities together. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and such great participation from everyone. 💛
Days like these are truly special and bring so much joy to our home. 🌷
