For the next hour, possibly more, we are unable to access our patient record system. During this time, we kindly ask that you delay any non‑urgent telephone calls until later, as we are temporarily unable to assist with record‑related enquiries.

📢Our computer migration has now begun, and we currently have read‑only access to patient records. As a result, the services we are able to provide during this period are limited.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding. This transition is challenging for our team as well, and our receptionists are doing everything they can to support you with the resources available.

We appreciate your cooperation throughout the coming week.

Full services are expected to resume on 09/03/2026.

Due to our computer system migration, our surgery will be operating with reduced services until 09/03/2026.

📢 SUSPENSION OF ONLINE SERVICES 📢
From 3:00pm today, online prescription requests via the NHS Wales App will be temporarily unavailable until 09/03/2026 as part of the system transition.

📢 EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS ONLY 📢
From Friday, 27/02/2026 until 09/03/2026, we will only be able to offer strict emergency appointments.

📢📢📢IMPORTANT PATIENT MESSAGE PLEASE READ📢📢📢

The practice will be switching to a new clinical system between the dates of 26th of February 2026 and 6th March 2026.
As a result, we will temporarily not be able to access ANY aspect of your medical records from 12 noon on Thursday 26th February 2026.
We will have a read only version available from 26th February 2026. This unfortunately will mean that we will be running at a significantly reduced service and will have the capacity to deal with urgent matters only.
Please be assured you may still contact the surgery if you are taken ill during this downtime in the normal manner.
Our online functions such as the NHS Wales App will also be unavailable between 25th February 2026 until 6th March 2026

PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS
If your repeat medication is due during this time, we ask that you put your request in week commencing 16th February 2026.
Ahead of the system downtime we will be issuing some double prescriptions for February 2026 if appropriate.

APPOINTMENTS
During this period we will be operating a same day appointment emergency ONLY Surgery.
Please be aware we will have limited access to your clinical record.

NEW PATIENT REGISTRATIONS
Whilst we will still be accepting patients to register with us, we will not be able to enter your details onto our clinical system during the transition period.
Please be patient with us as this process will cause extra upheaval for all staff and patients alike and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Dental Access Portal is a new platform where patients waiting for placement at an NHS Dental practice can register their interest.

To be eligible to apply through the Dental Access Portal, citizens must:

• Be aged 16 or over
• Not have received routine NHS dental treatment in Wales in the past four years
• Live at an address in Wales for more than six months of the year or attend a Welsh GP practice.
