❄️ W I N T E R ❄️
We treat winter like it’s summer, and that’s why everyone is exhausted.
Winter was never meant to be fast-paced, loud, or relentlessly productive. It was meant to be quieter, slower, and less demanding.
Before artificial light, winter nights were long enough to guide the body into deep restoration. What we now call seasonal depression was once a natural signal to slow life down.
Your body doesn’t resist winter,
it resists pretending winter isn’t happening. Nothing in nature survives winter by behaving as if it’s summer.
Step out of the constant consumer flow of life and take back your time. We’ve barely recovered from Christmas, yet Valentine’s Day is already being pushed at us, with Easter preparations lining the shelves soon after.
Take back your time. Return to the old flow of life. Rest.
You are more than a consumer feeding financial greed. You are a human being.
Enjoy the small things:
a soft blanket,
a warm cuddle in your favourite chair,
a quiet space,
a hearty meal,
a good book.
Slow down. Relax.
You’ll feel better for it.
