It was all fun and friendly competition at our Skittles session! 🎳

A big congratulations to Rose who was overall winner! 🏆

We also managed to capture Mike celebrating after scoring a brilliant strike, followed by Veronica showing everyone how it’s done with a strike of her own! 👏🎉

Another wonderful Wednesday morning singalong over on Ireland House yesterday 🎶

It was a really lovely session with lots of smiles, singing and familiar songs enjoyed together. Gill and Hywel joined in with the singing, which was fantastic to see. ❤️

🐶💙 We were delighted to welcome back Gillian and Stella from National Therapy Dogs on Friday.

Together we visited residents around Ireland, Stockwell and Adam’s Morgan, bringing plenty of smiles, conversation and comfort along the way.
A special moment during the visit was when Jean invited Stella in and asked to feed her herself, which staff felt was a lovely breakthrough and a really positive moment. 🐾

Thank you to Gillian and Stella for another wonderful visit that was enjoyed by residents and staff alike.

🎶On Friday we were delighted to welcome back the talented harpist Glenda Clwyd for a beautiful morning of music.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed listening and singing along to a selection of well-loved hymns and traditional Welsh songs, with the harp creating such a lovely atmosphere throughout. 🎵

🎶🎤 Wednesday’s Sing Along brought plenty of smiles, laughter and a few star performances from our residents!

One of the highlights was singing “How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?” complete with props, wagging tails and lots of giggles along the way. 🐶😂

It was wonderful to see everyone joining in, singing together and enjoying a fun afternoon of music and memories. 💙

🎉 Our Wednesday Evening Social Club this week was another lovely evening filled with fun, laughter and good company!

Residents enjoyed taking part in a quiz followed by a lively game of bingo, with plenty of friendly competition along the way.
Congratulations to Val who was our raffle winner for the evening! 🎟️👏

To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a delicious fish and chips supper together. 🍽️🐟🍟

☕🍰 Our monthly Masonic Coffee Morning was once again a lovely occasion, bringing residents, visitors, friends and family together for good conversation and plenty of laughter.

A special highlight, as always, was the delicious selection from Granny’s Home Bakes, with homemade treats enjoyed by all alongside fresh coffee and tea.
