Join Us as a Trustee – Make a Lasting Difference in the Lives of People with a Disability & their Carers
Are you passionate about inclusion, care, and creating opportunities for everyone to thrive?
Trinity Care & Support is a dedicated Porthcawl based charity supporting individuals with learning disabilities through high-quality domiciliary care, respite services, and lifelong support. Our mission is to empower people to live full, independent, and meaningful lives within their communities.
As we continue to grow and evolve on our 30th Anniversary, we are seeking new voluntary Trustees to join our Board and help guide the strategic direction of our organisation.
Why Join Us?
By becoming a volunteer Trustee, you'll play a vital role in shaping services that directly impact people’s lives. Your contribution will help ensure we remain person-centred, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of those we support.
We’re Looking For People Who:
- Share our commitment to equality, dignity, and choice for people with learning disabilities & those in need of our care and support
- Bring expertise in areas such as social care, health, fundraising, finance, HR, law or lived experience
- Can offer time, insight, and strategic thinking to support our leadership
- Are team players with integrity and empathy
- Live near or in Porthcawl and are able to attend events in person
- No prior Trustee experience is necessary – we provide induction, support, and training.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 6–8 meetings per year, with some additional availability for reading papers and supporting initiatives between meetings. If you'd like to get involved in other ways, please let us know. We are keen to support all volunteering opportunities.
As a charitable organisation, we are not able to pay expenses, this volunteer opportunity is best suited if you are located near to our base in Porthcawl.
Whether you're an experienced professional or someone with personal insight into learning disabilities and domiciliary care, your perspective is valued.
Help us make a real impact.
