Chef Andrew produced another exciting pancake breakfast and this time at The Hollies. Chef said, it's really rewarding being out with the residents and spending quality time with the lovely chaps and ladies and hearing their stories.

Throwing balloons in to Lisa's big pants was certainly entertaining for our residents.🤣

Another huge thank you to Chef Andrew for hosting residents at Cwrt Enfys to a special Sunday breakfast - pancake making with a great choice of toppings followed by cupcake decorating. Everyone loved it!!

Morgana enjoyed a visit from music therapist Sabrina, who visited residents in their rooms. Music is a strong therapy tool and helps our residents with cognitive and communicative skills while reducing their stress levels and helps them to interact. We see the power of music and we continue to use this. 🎶

Crwt enfys celebrated Brenda's birthday with a good old knees up and delicious cake surrounded by her friends. 🎂

Calling friends and family who live or lived in the Rhondda... Our staff at Mill View care home based in Ystrad, Pentre are looking for some photos, images or paintings of the Rhondda Valleys so we can place on our walls for residents to reminisce over as part of our memory lane theme.

Ideally we are looking for photos from the 1950s onwards showing local parks in Treorchy, Ponty etc, high streets, markets, mountains, rugby/football clubs and any other areas of interest for our residents to look at. Please can you drop off to our Mill View care home or message us and we can arrange to collect. Thanking you all in advance! 🫶

Our Silent disco turned into a chill out session for our residents listening to 60s and 70s pop, The Male Voice Choir but one lady did insist on listening to Clubland Classics, so some of our staff joined in!

Music is so powerful and our residents loved reminiscing and transformed their moods.

We will be doing it again in Monday and get the party started! 🎶🕺💃

Easter at Ty Nant was an absolute ball while residents enjoyed an Easter bonnet parade, arts and crafts, bingo called out by the residents and the lovely photo booth area. Thank you all for making it special. 🐣

A huge thank you to our peri chef Andrew for spending some quality time at Morgana Court on the weekend out of the kitchen for a change and took time out with our residents.

Andrew enjoyed creating a special pancake breakfast for the residents followed by cake decorating! The residents were thrilled to have time with chef and have requested he does it again. What a special treat for all. 👨‍🍳

Cwrt Enfys love gardening and they are fab at it too. We also wished Rhian a very happy 94th birthday.
